KING LEAR

Alec joins the company of the Almeida theatre production of Shakespeare's dark masterpiece. He will play Kent opposite Danny Sapani as the titular king and a superlative cast including Clarke Peters as the Fool. Multiple award winner Yael Farber directs.
PROTECTION
September 2023
Alec appears across all 6 episodes of police thriller “Protection”made by New Pictures for ITV. Stars Siobhan Finneran, David Hayman and Katherine Kelly.
WINNIE THE POOH:BLOOD AND HONEY 2
August 2023
Alec will feature in the sequel to the sleeper smash hit slasher "Winnie The Pooh:Blood and Honey". Directed by Rhys Frake Waterfield, the film also features Simon Callow and Teresa Banham.
THE SISTER BONIFACE MYSTERIES
July 2023
Alec has now completed filming a lead guest role for a feature length special of the hit Britbox show. More details later in the year.
THE BOYS IN THE BOAT
June 2023
MGM will release George Clooney's "The Boys In The Boat" December 25th, 2023.
Alec plays a key role in the film adaptation of Daniel James Brown's bestseller which charts the story of the US Olympic rowing team at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
CHEVALIER
June 2023
Fox-Searchlight's "Chevalier" will be released in UK cinemas June 9th, 2023. The film features Alec as Guillaime Poncet, and stars Kelvin Harrison Jnr and Lucy Boynton.
PRAY
September 2022
Shooting is now complete on the Louis Lagayette independent "Pray" which shoots in Athens, Greece. A survival thriller with a twist, Alec stars alongside Lily Banda (The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind) and Mylene Jampanoi.
MACBETH
April 2022
Alec plays Macduff in the BBC radio 4 production of Macbeth starring David Tennant. Directed by Clive Brill, the production airs 23/24th April before becoming available on BBC iPlayer.
THE COLLABORATION
March 2022
The Collaboration opened to universally great reviews with critics noting a "sharp", "nicely determined" and "amusingly smooth" performance from Alec as Bruno Bischofberger. The sold out Young Vic run ended April 2nd.
GRACE
December 2021
Alec has filmed scenes for the third film of ITV drama Grace. He plays Joe Baker in "Dead Tomorrow" based on the Peter James novel. The new series will air in 2022.
"SHOWTRIAL" AND "KAREN PIRIE"
November 2021
Alec features in two new shows from World Productions. "Showtrial" is available now on iplayer having received huge acclaim. Early next year Alec also appears in cop drama "Karen Pirie".
